Admission process step by step

FIRST STEP

Familiarize yourself with:

SECOND STEP

  • Register in the recruitment system.

  • Fill out the form and upload a photo, which must be current and comply with the requirements for issuing identity documents.

  • Upload the required documents. The list of required documents for candidates for the first-cycle and second-cycle studies. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

  • Establish the preferred order of courses you are applying for admission to. A candidate is only qualified for one course – the one that is at the top of the individual preference list. Pay attention to the language in which the studies are conducted.

  • If you are applying for courses in Architecture, upload your portfolio to the recruitment system.

THIRD STEP

Make the recruitment fee payment.
An individual bank account number is generated for each Candidate, to which one recruitment fee is paid, regardless of the number of selected courses. For courses with different fees, pay the higher fee. The paid fee is non-refundable.

FOURTH STEP

The Recruitment Committee evaluates the Candidate's documents.
For first-degree studies, grades from the certificate as well as the central examination are taken into account. If the level of the examination corresponding to the Polish maturity certificate/high school diploma has not been specified, its result will be considered equivalent to the basic level of the Polish maturity examination. In countries where the candidate can take an external exam as an additional qualification exam for first-degree studies, the result of such an exam may be considered equivalent to the extended level of the Polish maturity examination. The number of points obtained by Candidates is calculated based on ranking formulas.
For second-degree studies, the result of a qualification interview or an online test assessing predispositions for studies is considered.

FIFTH STEP

The Candidate receives information about admission to studies via the recruitment system.
Within three weeks of receiving the information, the candidate is obliged to pay the tuition fee or submit an application for exemption from fees.

SIXTH STEP

After paying the fee or submitting documents exempting from fees, the candidate will be admitted to studies and will receive a set of documents, based on which they can apply for a visa.

SEVENTH STEP

Submission of original documents. Upon arrival in Poland, the Candidate is required to immediately present the original recruitment documents at the International Cooperation Department office. Documents are accepted in the building of civil engineering at ul. Piotrowo 5 in Poznań, room 101.

WORTH TO KNOW:

  • A candidate can only be admitted to one study course, but has the right to indicate several courses, specifying the preferred order in which they are willing to undertake studies.

  • The candidate is qualified for studies while maintaining preferences for courses.

  • At the Poznań University of Technology, studies are conducted as full-time and part-time. Classes for part-time studies are held on weekends.
