The Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Energy started operating on 1 January 2020, using material resources and experience of staff from the Institute of Environmental Engineering, the Institute of Electric Power Engineering and the Chair of Thermal Technology. The education offer of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Energy is characterized by modern methods and a wide range of teaching topics. The Faculty guarantees excellent, comprehensive education in environmental engineering, construction installations, electric power engineering, energy, thermal and renewable energy and aerospace engineering at engineer's and master's levels. Study programmes are offered full-time and part-time. All available forms of education have one goal - to enable students to acquire knowledge and skills necessary to function in contemporary society. The scientific achievements of the research and teaching staff of the Faculty in the discipline of environmental engineering, mining and energy give the Faculty the right to confer doctoral and postdoctoral degrees.
