On September 10, 2025, a remarkable event took place in the WAWIZ building. The Student Scientific Association of Public Transport Engineers celebrated the 15th anniversary of its founding. Additionally, PUTrain — one of KNITP’s sections — presented its newest, third locomotive, which has achieved further success at the annual Railway Challenge competitions in England and Germany.

The event was enriched by numerous speeches from representatives of the University Authorities and the Railway Industry, who have supported the Team for many years. Members of the Association also had the opportunity to share their perspectives on the possibilities for development within KNITP with a wider audience.

The highlight of the 15th Anniversary Gala was the announcement of PUTrain’s long-term plans and the chance to test the locomotive in practice, with a demonstration ride held in the parking area of the WAWIZ building. We warmly invite you to view a short photo report from the event.
