Another project by the European University EUNICE

We are pleased to announce that Poznan University of Technology has once again received funding from the National Agency for Academic Exchange for the development of the EUNICE consortium. The funds, amounting to PLN 1,497,478.71, come from European Union funds and were awarded under the NAWA programme ‘Support for European University Alliances’ (FERS.01.05-IP.08-0219/23, FERS Projects). This is the second edition of this programme.

The project entitled ‘Cooperation and Learning within the EUNICE European University’ (NiWA) responds to the need to intensify scientific and educational activities within the consortium. Particular emphasis has been placed on the development of joint education programmes, the creation of interdisciplinary research teams and the strengthening of the international position of the Poznan University of Technology.

This initiative complements the activities carried out in the EUNICE4U project and builds on the results of the REUNICE project (Horizon 2020), including an advanced AI-based scientific collaboration platform. The NiWA project introduces a number of initiatives complementary to existing projects, which will allow for fuller use of the consortium's potential and available digital tools.

The project includes, among others:

  • organisation of working meetings of teaching staff from partner universities to develop flexible and interdisciplinary educational programmes,

  • support for the publication process,

  • development of a research network through the mobility of academic and administrative staff, also in the form of Blended Intensive Programmes,

  • a series of training courses for academic and administrative staff at the Poznan University of Technology and partner universities,

  • development and expansion of the micro-credentials platform.

The implementation of the project is crucial for the further development of EUNICE as a European University. It will enable complementary activities to be carried out alongside initiatives funded by the European Commission, increasing scientific mobility and integration, as well as developing the language and intercultural skills of staff.

Thanks to this funding, cooperation within the EUNICE alliance will be significantly strengthened, which will undoubtedly contribute to its further development and consolidation of its position on the international arena.

The project will be implemented by the European University Office between 1 October 2025 and 31 May 2027.

More information about the results of the call for proposals is available on the NAWA website.
