The National Science Centre has announced the results of the MAESTRO 14 and SONATA BIS 16 competitions.
We are pleased to inform you that the Director of the National Science Centre has awarded funding for the project titled:
"Development of One-Pot Cascaded Multi-Enzyme Systems for the Sustainable Synthesis of Pharmaceutically Active Compounds,"
led by Assoc. Prof. Jakub Zdarta, from the Faculty of Chemical Technology.
The aim of the project is to design and develop advanced multi-enzymatic cascade systems for use in the synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients, mainly with antidepressant and antiepileptic properties.
The amount of funding awarded is 3,888,030 PLN.
SONATA BIS is a competition dedicated to projects aiming to establish a new research team conducting basic research.
The success rate in the SONATA BIS 16 competition was 15.11%.
