Erasmus Day at Poznan University of Technology!

On 4 December 2025, Poznan University of Technology hosted Erasmus Day, an event dedicated to promoting the Erasmus+ Programme and international student mobility. The initiative was organized by the International Relations Office in cooperation with faculty Erasmus+ coordinators, EUNICE, and the Erasmus Student Network (ESN). Between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., students had the opportunity to obtain comprehensive information about studying and training abroad while participating in a variety of engaging activities.

The event space was carefully designed to create a welcoming international atmosphere. Information stands, posters, and a garland of European Union flags helped students easily locate the mobility information zone. Multimedia presentations with voice-over guides were displayed on monitors throughout the venue, explaining the Erasmus+ application process step by step. QR codes provided quick access to additional online resources and detailed information about mobility opportunities.

In addition to the information sessions, the organizers prepared numerous interactive activities to encourage students to explore international opportunities and ask questions in an informal setting. These included:

  • A prize wheel and raffle with attractive giveaways,
  • A map of Europe featuring photos of Poznan University of Technology students currently participating in Erasmus+ mobility,
  • A themed photo frame for memorable event photos,
  • Cupcakes decorated with the flags of European Union member states, highlighting the international spirit of the event.

Erasmus Day attracted remarkable interest, with nearly 600 students visiting the event, according to estimates by the International Relations Office. Participants actively engaged in conversations with staff and student ambassadors, participated in the activities, and gathered valuable information to help them plan their own international experiences.

This year's edition proved to be an outstanding success, effectively combining educational content with networking opportunities and an enjoyable, welcoming atmosphere. The positive feedback from participants and the impressive attendance clearly demonstrate the importance of initiatives that promote international educational opportunities and encourage students to broaden their academic and cultural horizons.

Erasmus Day 2025 once again confirmed that Poznan University of Technology students are open to the world and eager to embrace the opportunities offered by international mobility programmes.
