We invite you to participate in two summer schools organised as part of the European University EUNICE.
1. GLOBAL STUDIES in uncertain times: challenges & solutions - Santander, Spain
The partner university, the University of Cantabria, is organising a Blended Intensive Programme course as part of the Erasmus+ programme ‘GLOBAL STUDIES in uncertain times: challenges & solutions’ for 3 ECTS credits. The course will consist of a virtual part (2-30 June) and an on-site part at the partner university (3-13 July).
The course prepares students to understand globalisation and its various dimensions, identify concepts related to globalisation, encourage the use of information management tools for constant updating, and develop a critical spirit and reasoned discussion on issues related to global studies.

2. Crossing Borders: Colonial Echoes in Language, Space, and Culture - Mons, Belgium
The partner university, the University of Mons, is organising a Blended Intensive Programme course as part of the Erasmus+ programme for 5 ECTS credits. The course will consist of a virtual part (30 June-4 July) and an on-site part at the partner university (7-11 July).
The summer school explores the lasting impact of colonial heritage on contemporary societies, including gender, linguistic, spatial and cultural identity, through lectures, seminars, interactive workshops, site visits and group discussions with experts from various fields and teachers from the EUNICE network.

The approval of the Erasmus+ Departmental Coordinator / Doctoral School on the Application form I is required for participation in both summer schools. The Online Learning Agreement will need to be signed at a later stage.

Selection criteria:
- Three people will be selected for the summer school in Spain
- Two people will be selected for the summer school in Belgium
- Students from all degree levels (Bachelor's/Master's/PhD) are eligible to apply
- Each level is recruited separately. The decisive factor is the grade point average displayed in the eDean's Office (in the absence of a grade point average for the second level of study, the overall grade point average for the first level of study is decisive)
- If there are no applicants for a particular level of study, the place will be awarded to the next person with the highest score and the highest average from the level of study for which there are more applicants
- Additional points will be awarded for belonging to EUNICE student organisation
- In case of an equal number of points, the order of registration (date, time) will be decisive
- In case of a higher number of applicants, a reserve list will be created
