The team consisting of: Mateusz Kukla, PhD, prof. Łukasz Warguła, prof. Bartosz Wieczorek, prof. Dominik Rybarczyk and Michał Kończak, MSc received two awards in the form of gold medals at the following events: Innoverse Invention & Innovation Expo 2024 (23-24.08.2024, Georgia, USA) and Indonesia Inventors Day IID 2024 (28-31.08.2024, Bali, Indonesia).

The awarded solution is: "Dynamometer for simulation and measurement of wheelchair operating conditions" covered by patent application no.: P.444414 (Pat/2422) dated 14/04/2024. The invention was created as part of the implementation of the project: "Innovative Wheelchair Drive Systems - Design, Prototype, Research" financed by the National Centre for Research and Development under the Government Program "Accessibility Plus" as part of the competition "Things are for people" number: "Things are for people/0004/2020".
