Honorary Doctorate for Professor Jerzy Andrzej Sładek

The Academic Senate of Poznan University of Technology, after reviewing the opinions of the Senates of Lublin University of Technology, Kielce University of Technology, and Warsaw University of Technology, conferred the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of PUT on Professor Jerzy Andrzej Sładek.

Professor Sładek, a leading expert in coordinate metrology in the field of mechanical engineering, became the 47th person to receive this prestigious title in the university’s over 100-year history.

The promoter of the honorary doctorate was Professor Michał Wieczorowski, PhD, DSc, Eng.

The reviewers were:

Professor Stanisław Adamczak, (Kielce University of Technology)

Professor Adam Woźniak, (Warsaw University of Technology)

“Professor’s impressive range of scientific interests and his spectacular achievements have earned him international recognition, prestige, and renown. He skilfully combines knowledge gained through research with its practical applications, particularly in industries and economic sectors that rely on precision measurement and coordinate systems,” said Professor Teofil Jesionowski, Rector of Poznan University of Technology.
