KN PUT Powertrain during PolBoat Festival

On July 18-21, 2024, Gdynia once again became the capital of sailing and yachting, hosting one of the most important industry events in Poland - PolBoat Yachting Festival. This event, gaining prestige and popularity year by year, attracted both sailing enthusiasts and professionals from all over the world. This year's edition was special, offering participants not only a wide range of attractions and market novelties but also the opportunity to see premiere vessels in virtually every category and innovative technological solutions.

By taking part in PolBoat, we had the opportunity to present our previous activities and present plans related to #drogadomonaco. The main attraction of our stand was a demonstration model of a boat on a scale of 1:10, which will take part in the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge next year. The presence of the festival was not only an opportunity for us to promote our achievements but also to gain valuable knowledge and inspiration from other participants of the event. We are proud to be able to present our projects to a wide audience in the yachting industry.

Participation in the fair was also an opportunity to establish cooperation with companies from the yachting industry. Members of our Circle met with representatives of leading shipyards and equipment manufacturers, which opened up opportunities for cooperation on further projects and gaining practical experience.

PolBoat Yachting Festival 2024 did not disappoint in terms of the program either, offering participants a wide range of attractions. Every day there were dynamic shows on the water and presentations of vessels floating on the waters of the Bay of Gdansk. Viewers could admire not only classic yachts and catamarans but also the latest motorboats and innovative electric units in action.

Companies had the opportunity to present their latest technological solutions, including: advanced navigation systems, ecological drives and intelligent yacht management systems. These presentations were very popular, showing the directions of development of the yachting industry. There was also an opportunity to learn about the activities of numerous companies presenting electric outboard engines, which will be increasingly used in recreational yachting. Industry experts conducted specialist training sessions, covering topics such as the latest trends in yacht design, fleet management, innovative technologies and safety on the water. These workshops were not only a source of knowledge, but also a platform for exchanging experiences and networking. The youngest participants of the festival could take advantage of numerous attractions prepared especially for them. Among them were interactive sailing workshops, educational classes and competitions that allowed children to spend their time actively and creatively.

We would especially like to thank Vetus Poland and Tomasz Gonciarz for the invitation, and the opportunity to share the stand, care and unlimited support. We are also extremely grateful to our supervisor prof. Wojciech Cieślik for his help, patience and time devoted to us. To sum up, we are honoured to participate in the PolBoat Yachting Festival. We believe that our projects can make a significant contribution to the development of modern technologies and the yacht industry.
