On 23 June 2026, a meeting dedicated to the development of micro-credentials at Poznan University of Technology was held. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Micro-credentials Office, Faculty Coordinators, representatives of the Centre of Languages and Communication, and the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Prof. Mariusz Głąbowski. The meeting was chaired by Dr Liliana Szczuka-Dorna, PUT Professor, Rector’s Representative for Micro-credentials.
The aim of the meeting was to summarise the activities carried out so far in the implementation of micro-credentials at the university, discuss the first experiences resulting from the practical functioning of the system, and identify directions for further development. The participants also discussed cooperation with the DoxyChain platform, the organisation of the certificate issuing process, and solutions that may improve the handling of micro-credentials in the coming months.
So far, Poznan University of Technology has issued 144 certificates confirming the acquisition of specific competences. Micro-credentials have been prepared, among others, for language and teaching-related courses, as well as for courses implemented within educational projects.
The meeting was also an opportunity to exchange experiences among those involved in the process and to gather conclusions that will help further adapt the procedures to the needs of the university. Work on micro-credentials is an important element in the development of a modern and flexible educational offer at Poznan University of Technology.
