On 10-13 October 2024, the long-awaited event - Boat Technica combined with Poland Boat Show – was held at Ptak Warsaw Expo in Nadarzyn. Poland's largest marine industry trade fair focused on innovations, technologies and solutions related to the design, production and use of watercraft. This year's edition was special, offering participants not only a wide range of attractions and market novelties, but also the opportunity to see premiere vessels in virtually every category and innovative technological solutions.
- 55,000 m³ of exhibition space,
- 28251 visitors to PTAK Warsaw Expo,
- 700 product brands and manufacturers,
- 281 exhibitors,
- visitors representing 14 countries,
- 6 members of MKN PUT Powertrain representing the University,
- 4 trade fair days,
- 2 medals for MKN PUT Powertrain,
- ꝏ number of photos, leaflets distributed and talks,
- 2 videos summarising our participation.
As MKN PUT Powertrain, during the fair we presented our current activities and promoted the teaching offer of Poznan University of Technology. At the bluest stand, visitors could see an electric engine diagnostic system from Vetus, a proprietary dynamometer for an unmanned aerial vehicle, a real and virtual model of a boat, or a 3D printing scanner from Reversesolutions, a company cooperating with the Circle. During the four days of the fair, the logo of the Poznan University of Technology was present at every step of the visitors to this year's edition of the International Boat Building and Equipment Fair, and according to official statistics, there were more than 28,000 of them. There was great interest among young people with a passion for water sports in the faculties we promoted, and we hope that in a few years they will fill the walls of our Alma Mater.
The fair was an excellent opportunity to establish new relationships and strengthen existing business contacts. We held talks with visitors in order to gather direct feedback on our activities and to find out about the needs of the current market. Of particular interest was the idea of the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge.
During this two-day event, we received the Quality & Innovation Expo 2024 medals in the categories Cooperation and Innovation. This is an attestation of full trust and belief in our Circle, projects and current activities from the hands of Dariusz Drąg - President of the National Chamber of Exhibition and Tomasz Szypuła - President of Ptak Warsaw Expo.
We are very honoured to have had the opportunity to take part in Boat Technica. The award we have received is a great support and confidence in our activities. We believe that our projects can make a significant contribution to the development of modern technologies and contribute to the development in the boating industry.
