On February 26, the International Relations Office of Poznan University of Technology welcomed new international full-degree and Erasmus+ students who are beginning their academic journey at our university.
The PUT community has grown to include students from more than 35 countries. Young people have arrived from many European countries, as well as from distant countries, like Nepal, Turkmenistan, Vietnam, Taiwan, Algeria, Ethiopia, and Japan.
The meeting provided an opportunity to share practical information and valuable guidance regarding academic organization, administrative matters, and student life. Participants had the chance to learn more about how the university operates, what everyday life in Poland looks like, and how to prepare for the challenges ahead. In addition to university representatives, the new students were also welcomed by representatives of the city authorities, the police, student organizations, and the city office.
Students were also able to obtain detailed information by visiting consultation stands.
Orientation Day is an excellent opportunity for students from different parts of the world and various fields of study to meet and integrate. The International Relations Office prepared welcome gifts for the new students, and the most patient participants had the opportunity to take part in a prize draw and receive additional gifts.
We are delighted to accompany our students in their first steps at Poznan University of Technology and wish them great success and inspiring academic experiences.
