The National Science Centre (NCN) has announced the fourth list of laureates of the MINIATURA 9 competition for activities carried out in the form of preliminary research, queries, or scientific trips lasting up to 12 months.
Among the laureates are four researchers from Poznan University of Technology:
- Monika Rojewska, PhD – Faculty of Chemical Technology – “Study of the impact of mucoadhesive polymers on the functions of mucin and lipids: New perspectives for transmucosal drug delivery”;
- Marta Wojcieszak, PhD – Faculty of Chemical Technology – “Self-organizing amidquats based on mometasone furoate as alternative forms of cationic surfactants used in emulgels for glucocorticosteroid delivery”;
- Filip Brodowski, PhD – Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Energy – “Use of granular sludge in a UASB reactor for efficient conversion of organic waste into medium-chain carboxylic acids”;
- Assoc. Prof. Tomasz Rębiś – Faculty of Chemical Technology – “Research on the development of a new concept of covalent attachment of NAD⁺ molecules to the catalytic enzymatic material of a glucose biosensor.”
