Orientation Day 2025: Welcoming International Students

On March 18, the International Relations Office welcomed international students during Orientation Day - an inspiring and information-packed event. This year, the welcome was delivered in 26 languages, representing the diverse countries of origin of our new students. This event has become a permanent part of the academic calendar, offering valuable presentations on a wide range of topics.

Newly arrived students had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with key issues regarding visa legalization procedures, academic regulations, and insurance policies. The meeting also introduced them to library resources, emphasizing the university’s commitment to supporting their academic success and well-being.

Orientation Day is not only an opportunity to gain essential information but also a chance to get to know Poznań better. Students received practical tips on local cultural and entertainment attractionsthat can enrich their stay in the city. They were also introduced to opportunities for participation in the Erasmus+ program and the EUNICE initiative, which open doors to international academic exchange.

Orientation Day also fosters relationships between students, faculty, and the academic community. It reflects the university’s commitment to integrating international students, providing them with support, and creating conditions for effective learning and personal development.
