On September 17–18 of this year, we had the pleasure of co-organising the 19th Poznan High School Graduate Expo together with “Perspektywy.”
As is tradition, over the course of the two-day event held on our university campus, thousands of young people arrived seeking answers to the question: “What comes after the final exams?”
The event was officially opened by the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education, Assoc. prof. Agnieszka Misztal, who addressed a few words of support to the graduates gathered in the auditorium.
The symbolic blue ribbon was cut by the Vice-Rector, accompanied by Dr. Łukasz Kalupa, Chancellor of Poznan University of Technology; Wiesław Banaś, Deputy Director of the Poznan City Department of Education; and Andrzej Fornal, representing “Perspektywy.”
During this year's Graduate Expo, in addition to Poznan University of Technology, the following institutions presented their educational offerings:
Jagiellonian University, University of Szczecin, Jarosław Dąbrowski Military University of Technology in Warsaw, J.A. Komeński Academy of Applied Sciences in Leszno, St. Staszic Academy of Applied Sciences in Piła, WSB Merito, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, the City of Łódź, Hugo Kołłątaj University of Agriculture in Kraków, AGH University of Krakow, Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin, Wrocław University of Science and Technology, Wrocław Medical University, University of Wrocław, University of Zielona Góra, Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences, Poznan University of Life Sciences, Poznan University of Economics and Business, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poznan University of Medical Sciences, Eugeniusz Piasecki University School of Physical Education in Poznan, the Higher School of Security in Poznan, NAUCA – PASCAL Post-Secondary School, Cosinus Post-Secondary Schools, Higher School of Education and Therapy, Wrocław University of Economics and Business, and Vizja University.
As the event hosts, in addition to the main Poznan University of Technology booth—where visitors could learn everything about admissions—we also presented departmental booths. Students, PhD candidates, and staff from our university answered detailed questions about specific degree programmes.
High-school graduates could explore the wide range of study opportunities not only at the booths, but also during presentations delivered by the participating universities.
On the first day, Dr. Eng. Marek Kraft and Dr. Eng. Krzysztof Walas invited attendees to a lecture titled “Mission: Becoming a Space Robotics Engineer.”
Representatives of the Regional Examination Board explained the rules of the 2026 final exam, and career advisors helped students identify the right path forward.
In front of the Lecture Centre, student research clubs of Poznan University of Technology showcased their work: PUT Motorsport, PUT Rocketlab, PUTrain, and AKL Aero Design.
We would like to thank everyone involved in organizing the Poznan High School Graduate Expo for their time and dedication.
