Poznan University of Technology among the Beneficiaries of the SPINAKER Program

The National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) has announced the results of the SPINAKER Program (2024 edition), with Poznan University of Technology (PUT) among the beneficiaries.

The SPINAKER Program enables the creation of new or the adaptation of existing Intensive International Education Programs (IMPKs), such as summer or winter schools, specialist courses, training sessions, study visits, or the engagement of professors from abroad. Activities can be conducted in on-site, online, or hybrid formats.

The project “IMPACT – Innovative International Programs in AI, Cybersecurity, and ICT” will be implemented at the Faculty of Computing and Telecommunications in cooperation with the Interdisciplinary Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity, under the leadership of Michał Weissenberg, PhD.

As part of the project, three innovative intensive international education programs will be developed and implemented in the areas of AI, cybersecurity, and modern information and communication technologies (ICT). The project concept was shaped with the involvement of the Dean of the Faculty of Computing and Telecommunications, Assoc. Prof. Mikołaj Morzy, as well as the leaders responsible for individual IMPKs:

  • Assoc. Prof. Miłosz Kadziński,
  • Prof. Mariusz Głąbowski
  • Assoc. Prof. Anna Kobusińska,

The primary target group of the project will be students and doctoral candidates from foreign universities, who, with the support of Poznan University of Technology, will have the opportunity to acquire practical skills, earn micro-credentials, and advance their careers in the international market.

Congratulations!
