Poznan University of Technology and Apollo Spirit Launch Joint Engineering Training Center

On the April 17, 2026  a new Simulation Research Laboratory has been officially launched at Poznan University of Technology, marking a significant step forward in bridging academic education with real-world engineering practice. The initiative is the result of a collaboration between the university and Apollo Spirit.

From day one, the laboratory operates as a fully functional platform that integrates educational infrastructure with a structured training program based on real engineering tasks and industry workflows. Its core mission is to close the gap between theory and practice by enabling students to gain hands-on experience without interrupting their academic studies.

The Simulation Research Laboratory provides access to a modern digital engineering environment, including professional CAD tools used in aerospace projects, as well as structured modelling tasks aligned with current industry standards.

Industry Integration

Apollo Spirit, part of the Progresstechgroup ecosystem, contributes extensive expertise in design, structural analysis, certification, production support, and aircraft modification. The company has been involved in major international aerospace programs, including commercial aircraft platforms developed by Airbus and Boeing.

Through the Simulation Research Laboratory, this industry knowledge is directly embedded into the educational process, ensuring strong alignment with real-world engineering requirements.

Training Program

The launch of the laboratory is accompanied by the Apollo Spirit Internship Program 2026, focused on airframe engineering, design, and structural analysis.

The program combines a short theoretical phase with a practical selection process and an on-site internship. Participants will gain exposure to real aerospace engineering projects and modern development methodologies while working alongside experienced engineers.

A Strategic Step for Engineering Education

This initiative reflects a broader effort to modernize engineering education in Poland by aligning it with global industry standards and creating a scalable model for preparing engineers to contribute to complex international projects.
