Poznan University of Technology and H. Cegielski – Rail Vehicles Factory Ltd. have signed a patronage agreement that marks a new chapter in the collaboration between academia and industry.

Under the agreement, the company will act as a patron of the Rail Vehicles specialisation within the second-cycle (Master’s level) Mechanical Engineering and Vehicle Construction program. The cooperation will include student internships and placements, the development of diploma thesis topics, joint research and development projects, and participation in scientific and industry events.

The agreement also provides for mutual use of research facilities and the exchange of knowledge and experience between the university and the company. Both parties have committed to working together to advance modern education, promote rail transport engineering, and develop innovative solutions for the railway sector.

This partnership represents an important step toward strengthening the link between technical education and industrial practice, creating the foundation for developing the competencies of future engineers.
