On March 6, 2025, Poznan University of Technology (PUT) and the Wielkopolska Regional Government signed a cooperation agreement focused on educational initiatives related to the hydrogen economy.
This partnership aims to promote knowledge about hydrogen technologies and renewable energy sources among secondary school students in the region.
As part of the collaboration, the project "Hydrogen is My Path Forward" will be implemented. It aligns with the "Hydrogen School – 2024 Edition" initiative run by the Wielkopolska Regional Government. Representatives of PUT, including members of the PUT POWERTRAIN student research group, will conduct a series of workshops in selected schools, consisting of both lectures and hands-on sessions. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the use of hydrogen in the energy and transport sectors, as well as its role in climate transformation.
As a leading scientific and technological centre in the region, Poznan University of Technology is committed to the development of innovative solutions in the field of renewable energy. Through cooperation with the Wielkopolska Regional Government, students from the region will be able to broaden their skills in modern energy technologies, contributing to the development of a qualified workforce in the hydrogen economy.
This initiative opens new opportunities for youth development and strengthens PUT’s position as a university actively supporting technical education and innovative solutions in the energy sector.
