During two days of intensive activity at the joint Poznan University of Technology and EUNICE booth, emphasizing the European dimension of the educational offer, the team held numerous discussions with candidates interested in technical studies in Europe. Programs in computer science, automation, robotics, energy, and chemical engineering attracted the greatest interest.
The fair provided an opportunity not only to promote Poznan University of Technology’s educational offer, but also to meet with partner universities, local institutions, and potential collaborators. Exchange of experiences and discussions about possible joint initiatives confirmed that Taiwan remains a priority direction for the university’s international cooperation.
As part of the visit, Jakub Grabski, PhD, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, also delivered lectures at National Taiwan Ocean University, with which the faculty has collaborated for over a decade. This was a significant event strengthening academic relations and highlighting the long-term nature of institutional collaboration. Additionally, Vice-Rector Prof. Mariusz Głąbowski and Michał Weissenberg, PhD held meetings at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology and National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology to discuss cooperation in teaching, joint projects and research, and the development of long-term strategic partnerships.
Participation in the EEF Taiwan fair represents an important step in strengthening the university’s presence in the Asian market. The growing interest of Taiwanese candidates in studying in Europe allows for optimistic prospects for expanding collaboration and increasing the number of students from this region at Poznan University of Technology.
