From 26 to 29 May 2026, Poznan University of Technology presented its latest achievements in science, research and technology transfer at the European Science Fair, organised by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan and Poznan International Fair as an accompanying event to ITM Industry Europe.

The Poznan University of Technology stand offered visitors an opportunity to discover cutting-edge science, modern technologies and innovations developed by the University’s researchers, students and student research groups. The exhibits included advanced solutions in robotics, aviation, 3D printing, biomedical engineering, artificial intelligence, automation, energy technologies and advanced materials.

At the stand of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, visitors could see a multi-purpose unmanned vehicle developed by the team led by Assoc. Prof. Tomasz Bartkowiak in cooperation with Fabryka Maszyn i Urządzeń OMAG Sp. z o.o.

The programme featured presentations of innovative prosthetic devices and medical products developed using additive manufacturing and virtual reality technologies, as well as demonstrations of drones and mobile robots, including a walking robot. Visitors could also explore solutions developed by student research groups and technologies being implemented in cooperation with industry. The exhibits highlighted successful examples of knowledge and technology transfer to industry, as well as innovations developed jointly with business partners.

A particular highlight of the programme was a series of stage presentations dedicated to innovative technological solutions and their practical applications. These included projects carried out in cooperation with technology start-ups and companies applying research results in real-world settings. Presentations were delivered by Natalia Burlaga, MSc, Eng., representing the start-up MiCo Scientific, and Assoc. Prof. Filip Górski.
