From 22 to 24 October 2025, the International Congress on the Quality of Education was held at the University of Silesia in Katowice.
On Friday, 24 October, as part of the Congress, a conference promoting the project “Universities of the Future” took place. The conference was opened by the Rector of the University of Silesia, Prof. Ryszard Koziołek.
During the conference, all universities participating in the project presented Individual Innovative Projects (IIP) developed by students in the form of posters. These projects had successfully passed the recruitment process and were approved for implementation by the Business Teams for Innovative Education.
Poznan University of Technology was represented by a group of 18 students and two academic supervisors:
- Assoc. Prof. Tomasz Grzela (Faculty of Materials Engineering and Technical Physics) and
- Assoc. Prof. Alina Pruss (Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Energy).
The students’ presentations, as well as the poster showcasing all projects carried out at Poznan University of Technology, attracted significant interest. The conference was highly valuable in terms of content and was professionally organized.
Of particular note is the fact that four projects selected by the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) were additionally presented by students during oral presentations:
- Agnieszka Nawrocka and Patrycja Pietrzak (Management Engineering) – Poznan Campus Race: an urban outdoor game
- Michał Pawłowski and Jakub Danielewicz (Mechanical Engineering) – Pancakes on the Move
