Poznan University of Technology Recognised at the 11th LUMEN Conference 2025
On 25–26 November 2025, the 11th LUMEN Conference took place in Kraków, bringing together leaders and decision-makers in higher education management from across Poland. The annual conference serves as a platform for discussing the future of university governance, innovation, and strategic development.
During the conference's opening gala, Polish universities featured in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026 were honoured for their achievements. This year, 45 Polish higher education institutions were included in the prestigious global ranking.
Poznan University of Technology was among the distinguished universities recognised during the ceremony. On behalf of the Rector, the award was received by Prof. Agnieszka Misztal, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education.
The 11th LUMEN Conference was jointly organised by PCG Academia, the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland Foundation (FRP), and Times Higher Education, with the Jagiellonian University in Kraków serving as the host institution.
The recognition of Poznan University of Technology in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026 reflects the University's continued commitment to excellence in education, research, innovation, and international development, strengthening its position among the leading higher education institutions in Poland and worldwide.
