On 18–19 March 2026, representatives of Poznan University of Technology, Prof. Agnieszka Merkisz-Guranowska and Assoc. Prof. Marlena Kucz at Poznan University of Technology, participated in the symposium “Universities as Change Agents in Sustainable Development” in Tallinn.

During the event, they presented a poster entitled “BUILDING A GREEN AND SMART CAMPUS: THE POZNAN UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCE”, which showcased the University’s experience in creating a modern, environmentally friendly and smart campus. The symposium provided a valuable opportunity to exchange experiences with international experts and to discuss innovative teaching methods and the development of social and engineering competences in the field of sustainable development.

Participation in the event also made it possible to establish new contacts and inspired the further development of educational and research initiatives at Poznan University of Technology, including those carried out in cooperation with the Baltic University Programme (BUP).
