Poznan University of Technology Researchers Among the Top 100 Women in Biotech

We are pleased to announce that four representatives of Poznan University of Technology – Natalia Burlaga, Marta Woźniak-Karczewska, Magdalena Żukowska and Monika Dobrzyńska-Mizera – have been nominated for the prestigious “Top 100 Women in Biotech in Poland” ranking, organised as part of the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2026.
This exceptional distinction recognises women whose scientific, research and innovative activities contribute to the development of biotechnology and modern technologies in Poland. Natalia Burlaga and Magdalena Żukowska were nominated in the “Rising Stars in Biotech” category, while Marta Woźniak-Karczewska and Monika Dobrzyńska-Mizera were nominated in the “Biotech for a Better World” category.


These nominations recognise the scientific achievements, commitment and professional activities of our researchers, whose work contributes to the advancement of modern science and technology. They also represent an important success for our university as a whole, confirming the high standard of research conducted at Poznan University of Technology and the presence of our researchers among those making a tangible contribution to the development of the biotech sector in Poland.
