Prof. Tomasz Łodygowski from the Faculty of Civil and Transport Engineering, has been honoured with the Roger Sławski Statuette in the “Wielkopolska Person of the Year in Construction” category for the year 2023–2024. The award is presented by the Wielkopolska Chamber of Construction.

The Professor was recognized for his many years of service at the Department of Construction as well as for initiating the expansion of the Poznan University of Technology Piotrowo Campus and the Kąkolewo Campus.

The Roger Sławski Statuette is awarded by the Wielkopolska Chamber of Construction in collaboration with the Poznań International Fair and TVP3 in three categories:

• Wielkopolska Construction Company of the Year
• Education at the level of vocational and higher education, and promotion of modern technological, structural, and material solutions in construction
• Wielkopolska Person of the Year in Construction
