On Saturday, 10 October 2026, the seventh edition of PUT Campus Game took place. This integration event offers newly arrived students a unique and engaging way to explore the Poznan University of Technology campus. The campus becomes a giant game board, with participants acting as game pieces as they move around the university grounds, complete challenges and discover the campus.
This year’s edition broke all previous attendance records, with nearly 130 participants – the highest number in the history of the event. The game was attended exclusively by newly arrived international students enrolled in full-degree programmes and students coming to PUT through the Erasmus+ and Exchange Programme schemes.
The first editions of the game were organised as part of the “PUT Students on Board” project, implemented between 2023 and 2025 with funding from the NAWA Welcome to Poland programme. The event’s popularity and its importance in helping new students integrate into the university community have ensured that it has become a permanent fixture in the university’s schedule at the beginning of each semester, serving as a regular initiative for newly arrived international students.
The International Relations Office (IRO), together with students from the Buddy programme, was responsible for preparing and running the game. Compared with previous editions, the event’s format was further improved, and its visual identity was refreshed with the help of our students.
The fantastic atmosphere, participants’ enthusiasm and the tremendous commitment of the Buddy programme students made the seventh edition of PUT Campus Game a truly special event. The record attendance once again demonstrated the importance of integration initiatives in building an open, welcoming and international academic community at Poznan University of Technology.
