The goal is to encourage collaboration between disciplines such as chemistry, physics, engineering, mathematics, computer science, and electrical engineering.
The conference was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Computing and Telecommunications, prof. Mikołaj Morzy. The plenary lectures were given by prof. Dariusz Brzeziński, (Poznan University of Technology) and Prof. Peter Fischer (ETH Zurich).
After the general part, discussions were held within thematic sections:
• Computer Science & Electrical Engineering
• Chemical Engineering & Technology
• Materials Engineering & Physics
• Mathematical Modeling, Simulations & Optimization
The reviewed conference materials will be published in the near future.
The conference was organized jointly by three scientific groups: PUT STEM Student Group, KN GHOST and KN Technology and Chemical Engineering.
Information about the awards for the best posters and presentations has been published on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61568504312230) and will soon appear on the official website of the conference https://stemday.put.poznan.pl/
