Poznan University of Technology has improved its position in the latest edition of the QS World University Rankings: Europe 2026, reinforcing its standing among Europe's top higher education institutions.

In this year's ranking, the University advanced to 403rd place, up from 419th in the previous edition. The QS World University Rankings: Europe 2026 evaluated 958 institutions from 42 countries, including 39 universities from Poland. Among Polish technical universities, Poznan University of Technology ranks 7th nationwide.

The QS Europe ranking is based on 12 performance indicators, including academic reputation, employer reputation, research impact measured through citations, international research collaboration, and other measures of teaching and research excellence.
