Recruitment for ESA Spaceship Poland Internships Now Open!

Recruitment for ESA Spaceship Poland Internships Now Open!

In July, Poznan University of Technology (PUT) entered the next phase of implementing the ESA Spaceship Poland initiative. Spaceship Poland is the newest member of the ESA Spaceship family — the fourth such initiative launched by the European Space Agency in Europe. It will be based at PUT and focus on key areas of space technology development: robotics, autonomous systems in space, and artificial intelligence applications.

As part of the initiative, recruitment for six-month internships will be held twice a year. The programme is open to students and PhD candidates from ESA Member States.

Spaceship Poland will operate in two locations of PUT: on the Warta Campus and at the Kąkolewo Campus.

The team behind Spaceship Poland has over 15 years of experience in conducting R&D projects in robotics, autonomy, and AI — providing a strong foundation for innovation and international collaboration.

Spaceship Poland works closely with other ESA Spaceship centres across Europe to jointly support competence development, technological innovation, and the growth of the next generation of space engineers.

Spaceship Poland is now announcing its first call for internships, conducted partially on the Warta Campus and partially in Kąkolewo Campus. The offer is directed to students and PhD candidates from ESA Member States.

We encourage all interested candidates to review the announcement attached.
