The Kosciuszko Foundation is now accepting applications for its flagship educational and exchange programs for the 2026–2027 academic year. These prestigious opportunities support Polish and American scholars, researchers, and artists who wish to strengthen academic and cultural ties between Poland and the United States.

Exchange Program to the U.S.

Polish PhD students, postdoctoral fellows, researchers, and artists can apply for funding to conduct research, teach, or complete artistic residencies at leading American universities.
 The Foundation awards over $600,000 annually to around 40 scholars.

Scholarships and Grants for U.S. Students

The Foundation also invites American students of Polish descent to apply for:

• Tuition Scholarships for studies in the U.S. or at English-language medical schools in Poland (deadline: February 17, 2026)
• Studies and Research Grants for graduate or postdoctoral studies in Poland
• Year Abroad in Poland – Polish language and culture program at Jagiellonian University in Kraków (deadline: March 2, 2026)
