From 3 to 6 November 2025, a study mission of Polish academic universities was taking place in Morocco. The mission aims to develop academic cooperation and to promote Polish higher education in the North African region.
The event brings together representatives of universities associated with the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (CRASP), including delegates from Poznan University of Technology, which played an important role in presenting the potential of Polish technical education and innovation.
The mission program includes visits to leading Moroccan universities, such as Hassan II University of Casablanca and Mohammed V University in Rabat, where round-table meetings were held with university authorities.
An important part of the program was also a visit to the Delegation of the European Union, during which EU programs supporting academic and research exchange with Morocco were presented. In addition, a meeting was held with a representative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Mauritania, highlighting the regional dimension of the mission.
The study mission of Polish academic universities to Morocco represents a significant step toward the internationalization of Polish universities and the development of long-term academic relations with countries in North Africa.
Poznan University of Technology is represented by the Vice-Rector for Research, Prof. Wojciech Sumelka.
