Are you an undergraduate, master's or doctoral student? Are you interested in working in an interdisciplinary research group on a real and challenging problem of a German company? Apply to join EUNICE International Student Research Club!
The Club is open to applicants from any field of study and offers a unique opportunity to present your solution to a company, win a prize and travel to its headquarters to gain a deeper understanding of its business.
We are looking for an interdisciplinary team that can cover the following aspects of problem solving:
- Engineering and technical aspects for the energy system
- Economic (sales) and environmental aspects
- Sociological aspects (human resources)
- Political and legal aspects
How does it work?
Apply here until 13 February 2025.
- As soon as we receive your application, you will be assigned to an interdisciplinary Study Club composed of EUNICE students at undergraduate, masters or doctoral level.
- In your Study Club you will work virtually from the beginning of March on a challenge set by the German company LEAG and you will have until the end of March 2025 to prepare a short 4-minute presentation, called a pitch, with your solution to the proposed problem. Below you can find the presentation guidelines.
- Present your solution to the company at an online meeting in early April 2025.
- The company will select the winning Study Circle by 17 April 2025.
- The winning Study Circle will be invited to work on the problem in May 2025 in LEAG's co-working space and will have a unique opportunity to get to know the company from the inside!
For the winning Scientific Club, we offer:
- International and interdisciplinary collaboration on a real-world challenge for a regional German company
- On-site work in LEAG's co-working space in Cottbus
