TORPOL S.A., one of the leaders in the railway construction market, has signed a cooperation agreement with Poznan University of Technology – one of the country’s leading technical universities.
The aim of this cooperation is to jointly support the development of technical fields, facilitate knowledge transfer, and prepare students and graduates to work on the largest infrastructure projects in Poland.
The agreement formalizes the existing collaboration, especially in the scientific research and teaching areas. TORPOL S.A., as a company that draws from the potential of Poznan University of Technology graduates, is fully committed to investing in young professionals and innovation.
A key element of the agreement is the company’s involvement in the educational process and the creation of a platform for close cooperation. TORPOL will offer students and graduates internships and placements, allowing them to gain unique experience while working on complex railway projects. Additionally, it will actively participate in the teaching process, including by cooperating on improving the study program to better align theoretical knowledge with the real needs of the job market, especially in the field of railway engineering.
The company also sees great potential in research and development cooperation through conducting studies and work on new technologies related to the construction and maintenance of rail infrastructure, optimizing the use of machinery, and analyzing the reliability and safety of railway traffic.
“We view the signing of this agreement as a strategic investment in human capital. We know that the key to maintaining our position as a leader is constant development and investment in the best professionals,” commented Konrad Tuliński, President of the Management Board of TORPOL S.A. “The future of Polish railways depends on young, exceptionally well-educated engineers. Thanks to this cooperation, we have the opportunity not only to influence the quality of education but also to ensure that our projects have access to the latest scientific and research knowledge. This partnership guarantees mutual benefits and strengthens our position as a company responsible for the development of the country’s key infrastructure and the industry as a whole.”
