The university representative attended the Spaceport America Cup 2023 from June 19-24. The competition took place at Spaceport America in New Mexico. 158 teams from 24 countries took part in them, including our team with the HEXA 4 hybrid rocket, which competed in the highest category, so its goal was to reach a ceiling of over 9 km.

It was difficult, but both our delegation and the rocket were well prepared. The difficult weather couldn't stop us from getting 1st place in the 30k SRAD Hybrid/Liquid category. Our team and the Canadian team achieved 1000 points with a hybrid rocket, demonstrating hybrid rockets can be just as successful as those using solid propellants.

We also congratulate the other Polish teams that fought against adversities in the parallel 10k SRAD Hybrid\Liquid category.
