On May 25, 2024 In the visiting space of the building of the Faculty of Architecture and the Faculty of Engineering Management of the Poznan University of Technology, a Gala Concert took place on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the existence of the Folk Dance Group of the Poznan University of Technology Poligrodzianie. Over 100 dancers and musicians performed on stage and nearly 400 people were in the audience. The guests were welcomed by the host of the event, prof. Teofil Jesionowski.

The meeting began with a show Welcome to Poznan. In addition, the program included 17 dance routines, including National Krakowiak, Kujawiak with Oberek or Łowicz. The gathered audience could admire not only beautiful folk costumes but also amazing dance routines and vocal performances.

At the end of the concert, the Rector spoke and, on behalf of the entire academic community, thanked the staff and dancers for 50 years of artistic activity and their fruitful work for the development of Polish culture by promoting dances, rituals, customs and singing in the country and abroad.

There was also a touching speech by Mrs. Marzenna Biegała-Howorska - the manager and choreographer of the Ensemble.

in Poznań and the City of Poznań.
