4th conference "Hydrogen Railway - Hydrogen4Rail Future of Transport"

We transport passengers using various energy carriers. From steam locomotives to diesel-powered vehicles to electric ones. Hydrogen is another opening. You should not be afraid of it, but respect it - said Marek Nitkowski, President of the Management Board of Koleje Wielkopolskie during the 4th conference "Hydrogen Railway - Hydrogen4Rail Future of Transport". The meeting of experts from the rail transport and alternative fuels industry was held on June 19-21 in Poznan.

Over a hundred representatives of the railway world, business and science met in the building of the Faculty of Architecture and the Faculty of Engineering Management at the Poznan University of Technology. The guests were officially welcomed by Adam Musiał, General Director of the Polish Chamber of Railways, the conference organizer, and Zbigniew Wiśniewski, Project Manager. The event was officially opened by the Rector of the Poznan University of Technology, prof. Teofil Jesionowski and Aleksandra Remelska, Deputy Director for Finance and Operations from the Lukasiewicz Research Network - Poznan Institute of Technology.

Prof. Teofil Jesionowski talked about the future of hydrogen fuel.

(...) The most important issue is safety, as it is a key aspect of working with hydrogen. Education is also important. Hydrogen, alongside AI and digitalization, is another element of our new world. We should discuss it, as we demonstrate together with the Polish Chamber of Railways at conferences like these.
