As part of the culmination of the National Network of Coordinate Metrology (NSMET) project, the Multiscale Laboratory of Coordinate Measurement Technology was opened on June 24, 2024. 

The guests were welcomed by the Rector of the Poznan University of Technology, prof. Teofil Jesionowski and Head of the Department of Metrology and Measurement Systems - prof. Michał Wieczorowski.

Project manager – prof. Bartosz Gapiński presented the research and service potential of the Multiscale Laboratory of Coordinate Measurement Technology.

The laboratory is located in the building of the Centre for Mechatronics, Biomechanics and Nanoengineering - in room 005, where it was officially opened and named after prof. Jan CHAJDA.
