Poznan University of Technology was ranked high, seventh in the Ranking Web of Universities comparing almost 400 Polish universities. Globally, our University was ranked 751 (out of over 31,000).
The ranking is based on webometric and bibliometric indicators (visibility, excellence, openness and presence), and its primary goal is to promote open access to knowledge generated by Open Access universities.
According to its creators, the Ranking Web is the largest academic ranking of universities offering independent, objective, free, open scientific exercise for providing reliable, multidimensional, updated and useful information about performance of universities from all over the world.
