Poznan University of Technology is a partner of the Universities of the Future project

On May 13, 2024 Poznan University of Technology officially became a partner of the National Centre for Research and Development. The ceremonial signing of the partnership agreement for submitting a joint application for co-financing and implementation of the "Universities of the Future" project, planned under Measure 5.1 Social Innovations, Axis V Social innovations under the European Funds for Social Development (FERS), was held at the NCBiR headquarters.

The aim of the project is to implement an innovative education model based on students' original projects in various types of universities in order to test the possibility of its widespread application.

 

The specific goals of the project are:

  1. Development of the university's potential in the field of teaching innovatively the key competencies of students needed in the labour market;

  2. Expanding the educational offer of the university and adapting it to the needs of students interested in creating innovative solutions, including social innovations;

  3. Development of competencies of academic staff in the diagnosis of students' competencies regarding individual work and their needs for mentoring support;

  4. Developing a cooperation model between universities and the socio-economic environment in the education process.

The project will be implemented in 2024-2028.

 

Student recruitment under the innovative education model being implemented will take place in 2025, 2026 and 2027.

The offer of cooperation within the recruitment process was prepared under the supervision of the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education, prof. Agnieszka Misztal.

The Poznan University of Technology is one of three partner universities selected in the macroregion covering the following voivodeships: Kuyavian-Pomeranian, Pomeranian, Greater Poland, West Pomeranian and one of five technical universities selected in the country.
