PUT AS A PARTNER OF THE US-POLAND SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY SYMPOSIUM

The symposium (held on June 14-17 I Palo Alto) is organized by the USPTC. The chairman of the conference is prof. Piotr Moncarz from Stanford University. The symposium aims to "build bridges" between Poland and the US, understood as the exchange of knowledge and networking in areas important for Polish-American cooperation. The theme of this year's edition is AI - AN ACCELERATOR TOWARDS A MORE RESILIENT WORLD.

This year, the Poznan University of Technology is the Academic Partner of the symposium. Our university will be represented by prof. Paweł Śniatała, Vice-Rector for International Relations, will lead the discussion panel on AI in Education and Knowledge Transfer and prof. Michał Wieczorowski, Vice-Rector for Development and Cooperation with Business and Industry, will be a participant in the panel entitled AI in Industry 4.0. The organizer of the symposium will also be attended by Magdalena Diering, PhD, assistant professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and a member of Professor Moncarz's team.

The symposium will also be attended by a group of IT students from the Faculty of Computing and Telecommunications, who at that time will be carrying out activities in California as part of the Academy of Innovative Applications of Digital Technologies (AI Tech) (https: //si.cs.put.poznan. pl / ai-tech). The tutor of the students will be prof. Miłosz Kadziński, content manager of AI Tech.
