WE COOPERATE ON ELECTROMOBILITY WITH VOLKSWAGEN GROUP POLAND

The letter of intent, in order to start mutual cooperation, was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Automatic Control, Robotics, and Electrical Engineering prof. Wojciech Szeląg and the President of the Management Board of Volkswagen Group Polska, Pavel Šolec. The signing of the letter is related to the launch of a new field of study Electromobility at the Poznan University of Technology in the new academic year 2021/2022.

The most important goals of the cooperation include: organizing training courses for students and scientific staff of the Faculty of Automatic Control, Robotics and Electrical Engineering, undertaking joint research activities to improve the Electromobility study programme, organizing summer internships at Volkswagen Group Polska and establishing project cooperation with research clubs organizations of the Faculty.

The cooperation will allow both parties to exchange knowledge and skills and gain experience in the preparation of highly qualified specialists in the field of electromobility. The company is consistently involved in the development of electromobility. Volkswagen was the first car manufacturer to commit to the Paris Agreements in 2018.
