The PUT and the Polish Alternative Fuels Association signed the cooperation agreement

The aims of the agreement on research, development and didactic cooperation are, among others: a substantive partnership in supporting the implementation of joint programs, projects, scientific, research, development and implementation of European and national projects. Moreover, cooperation will be used to transfer knowledge, which is crucial for future market needs during the transformation.

Cooperation with such an experienced partner in creating the e-mobility and hydrogen technology market is extremely important to the university. Thanks to the combination of scientific potential and industry experience, we can create new procedures and solutions in the field of zero and low-emission technologies in Poland. Joint research, the use of laboratory and production facilities, the commercialisation of new solutions, and internships for students are the prime targets of the signed agreement. The scope of the agreement is extremely wide and also includes, among others, the implementation of diploma theses, participation of PSPA experts in the education process, joint conferences, seminars and training. In the future, the scope of the agreement will include the implementation of postgraduate studies, specialist courses, and doctorates, as well as joint solving of current needs - comments prof. Jacek Pielecha, the Dean of the Faculty of Civil and Transport Engineering at the Poznan University of Technology.

The challenges facing the emerging e-mobility sector mean the need to change the approach to the education of future engineers. Enabling them to gain knowledge in the field of electromobility may be crucial for the development of this sector, which may have a significant impact on the national economy and Poland's GDP. The established cooperation is a response to the growing needs of the market.

The agreement signed today confirms our excellent partnership relations and reflects the interdisciplinary approach to electromobility by the Poznan University of Technologyauthorities. PSPA has been creating Poland's low- and zero-emission transport market for years, paving the way for its development in all potential areas, from legislative initiatives to training projects. We are also intensifying our activity on the scientific level. Thanks to the agreement with the Poznan University of Technology, we are able to get to know students' expectations even better and correlate them with the needs of employers from the e-mobility sector - says Maciej Mazur, managing director of the Polish Alternative Fuels Association.

Thanks to the agreement, it will also be possible to organise joint seminars, symposiums, training sessions and scientific conferences, and to include the faculties of the Poznan University of Technology in pilot projects implemented by PSPA with industry entities. The document on permanent research, development and teaching cooperation was signed by prof. Teofil Jesionowski, the rector of the Poznan University of Technology and Maciej Mazur, President of the Management Board and Managing Director of the Polish Alternative Fuels Association.
