On March 17-24, 25 Polish universities presented their educational offers at the IEFT ( Education Fairs of Turkey)educational fair - the largest event in Turkey. The Poznan University of Technology also attended the fairs, represented by the International Relations Office.

We are pleased with the huge interest and high attendance during the fair and many people were interested in studying at PUT. This is unsurprising because Turkish citizens constitute our university's third largest group of international students. Candidates came with their parents, which showed a serious approach to choosing studies. We had dozens of conversations with potential candidates, had the opportunity to familiarize ourselves with the offers of other universities from around the world and found out what makes candidates choose a specific country and university. During the fair, there were also meetings with agencies that mediate in the recruitment process or help obtain visas to Poland.

On Sunday, the Consul of the Republic of Poland in Istanbul, Witold Leśniak visited the event. The opportunity to talk directly with the Consul about the education system in Turkey, as well as the visa procedure will certainly help candidates from Turkey in their prospects plans. Obtaining additional information about the mentality of Turkish youth will allow us to take better care of the community in Poznan.
