The event was created on the Facebook page of the PUT, the information also appeared on the main webpage of the Poznan University of Technology in the section News and on posters around the campus of our university.

Initially, the fundraising activities were carried out at the University's Cultural Center. Later on, the students from at the students from the Students’ Union and the PROgressio PROmotio Scientific Organization served and assisted newcomers at the Sports Center.

The list of needs has been always focused on two groups of needs: military and medical. The donations from four collections were given to the Territorial Defense Forces, the National University of Lviv Polytechnic, and the Lutsk National Technical University, respectively.

Transport to the areas affected by war became much more difficult, which is why it was so important to collect as many gifts as possible. A decision was made to cover the purchases with funds paid into a specially created account called "Pomoc dla Ukrainy" - the Foundation for the Development of the Poznan University of Technology. 69,466 PLN was collected.

So far, 36,488 PLN has been spent on among others, walkie-talkie sets, thermal imaging cameras, camouflage clothing and medical supplies, including first aid kits, aprons and sheets.

The last transport to the Sumy State University and the National University of Lviv Polytechnic left Poznań on 21^st April. At the same time, during all the collections, items were collected for the day-room run by the "Bilingwo" Foundation, where children from Ukraine spend their time. As part of this collection, we delivered 10 bags of toys, crayons, books, office supplies, etc.

During the targeted collections, items that were not included in the lists were also collected, including car seats, cots, mattresses, clothes, and cleaning products. Through an entrepreneur employing Ukrainian citizens, the transport was delivered to 90 Ukrainian families.

On 10^th April, 37 paintings of students of the Faculty of Architecture were auctioned. Prof. Katarzyna Spadocka, (initiators of the event) and Karolina Sobczyńska, PhD gathered 15.200 PLN during the auction. The funds were transferred to the dedicated bank account of the Foundation for the Development of the Poznan University of Technology, from which aid activities for Ukraine are supported. The auction was organized and conducted by Katarzyna Spadocka (Faculty of Architecture) and Katarzyna Aleksiun (University Culture Center) with the support of the workers of the Public Relations Office. The interest in the campaign encouraged the organizers to continue it. More paintings are under preparation and will be auctioned off. Many activities took place quietly and we are not able to present them, but we sincerely thank you for all your support.

At the same time, we would like to inform you that we are receiving further requests for support from medical and military institutions from Mikołajewo and the Poltava University of Technology. We do not want to stop, so if any of you would like to support the account "Pomoc dla Ukraine" - Foundation for the Development of Poznan University of Technology, we ask for possible donations, which will be used reasonably in a similar way.
