Strategic dialogue on European Universities

On May 10, 2023, the Strategic Dialogue on European Universities took place at the University of Maastricht. Participants of the event, coming from all over Europe, had the opportunity to share innovative solutions for improving the management and financing of joint programmes.

 An important element of the discussion was the issue of financing future activities of European Universities from the Erasmus+ program funds. During the meeting, a significantly important role of local ecosystems in cooperation with universities was emphasized, but also the importance of those activities at the national and European level. The event was supported by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, the French Ministère de l'Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche (Ministry of Higher Education and Research) and the European Commission's Directorate-General for Education and Culture.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Poznan University of Technology – Professor Mariusz Głąbowski, Ph.D., D.Sc. (Faculty of Computing and Telecommunications) and PUT Professor Michal Rychlik, Ph.D., D.Sc. (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering). The solutions developed by PUT representatives during the "Governance" and "Implementation of Joint Programs" panels received a distinction and were presented at the plenary session of the event, attended by representatives of the EU Commission.
