Students of the PUT at the Forum of Technical Universities

The Forum of Technical Universities was founded in 2006 and is one of the 10 industry committees of the Parliament of Students of the Republic of Poland (PSRP). It brings together 33 student governments and its mission and activities are focused on joint development, exchange of knowledge, experience and good practices, as well as pro-quality activities for students

This time, representatives of Student Governments (including representatives of our university) were hosted by the Bialystok University of Technology.

On 15-18 June, 2023 the representatives of student governments from about 30 Polish technical universities participated in the event. Participants of the FUT were welcomed by the Rector of the Bialystok University of Technology, prof. Marta Kosior-Kazberuk.

FUT is a unique opportunity to discuss, exchange experiences and good practices, as well as develop competences that are particularly important in the context of activities for the benefit of academic communities. Participants could improve their skills in the field of interpersonal communication, didactics and quality of education as well as cooperation with external partners.

During the congress, there were also meetings of the Council of Elders, during which the FUT presidium, the audit committee and delegates discussed current issues and  previously reported topics. During the Working Session, the most important issues concerning the forum were discussed and the recent activities were summarized. The culmination of the whole reunion was a grand ball.

The Poznan University of Technology was represented by:
Agata Pera – President of the Student's Union of the Poznan University of Technology
Dawid Gańczak – Vice-President for Media and Promotion
Hubert Ziętowski – Vice-President for External Partners
Malwina Nowak – President of the Student's Union of the Faculty of Chemical Technology
