SUCCESS OF PUT SCIENTISTS AT E-NNOVATE 2023

Technologies developed by interdisciplinary teams of prof. Krystyna Prochaska, Bartosz Wieczorek, PhD and Jan Górecki, PhD were appreciated during the fourth edition of the E-NNOVATE International Invention and Innovation Fair, which was held on May 30-31, 2023 at the Bydgoszcz University of Technology. The effects of the scientific activity of PUT teams were submitted in Zero Waste Technologies and Healthcare/Fitness categories, with the support of the Centre for Technology Transfer of PUT.

The silver medal was awarded to the technology of obtaining, separating and implementing alpha-ketoglutaric acid for industrial applications https://e-nnovate.eu/innovation-details.php?id=124, which was created in cooperation with scientists from the Poznan University of Technology, Poznan University of Life Sciences and of Symbiosis company.

Technologies that increase the efficiency of manual wheelchairs https://e-nnovate.eu/innovation-details.php?id=123, which consisted of patents resulting from the LIDER and Accessibility Plus projects, were awarded a gold medal.

Jan Górecki, PhD from the Institute of Machine Design, presented an innovative method using an evolutionary technique to design single-channel dies used in the extrusion process of crystallized CO2 to reduce the consumption of electricity and raw materials https://e-nnovate.eu/innovation-details.php?id =105, winning the gold medal in the Energy category.

During the E-NNOVATE 2023 fair, 141 inventions from 5 countries were presented. The event is a promotional platform for Polish innovators, facilitating the establishment of national and international cooperation with business organizations and potential recipients of technology.
