The team of Amadeusz Szymko, Mikołaj Nowak, Grzegorz Czechmanowski and Krzysztof Walas took 3rd place in the Formula 1/10 Autonomous Grand Prix Germany 2022 competition.

"It was an excellent weekend for us, it was the first time we participated in this competition" - said Krzysztof Walas. The qualification took place on Saturday. It was composed of autonomous time driving of the car on a 1:10 scale and covering as many laps as possible without a collision, in a given time. During the Sunday races, two cars were racing simultaneously on the track. The one, who autonomously covered the given number of laps faster, won the race.

It took two races to advance to the next knockout round. In the first round, the team from the Poznan University of Technology won with the team from the Prague University of Technology. In the next round, our team was beaten by the team from Zurich. The team from ETH turned out to be the winner of the entire competition. Then, our team was still fighting for 3rd place. They won it with the HiPeRT Lab team from Modena.
